Ocho Rios River Kayaking & Beach Adventure

Your River Kayaking and Beach Adventure begins right from the cruise pier in Ocho Rios where your guide and transportation will be waiting for you. This is a fun and active excursion that will both challenge and delight your inner explorer. The River Kayaking Tour does not require any kayaking experience.

Once you have arrived at the facilities, you will receive a briefing from your guide explaining the safety rules. Once you and your group get settled in the kayaks you will follow your Kayak Tour Guide down the beautiful Rio Bueno River.
 
Your Kayaking Tour guide will paddle ahead in his kayak, leading the way as the swift currents carry your kayak downstream, challenging you and your partner to paddle confidently through various areas of exciting class 2 rapids and picturesque river pools. The guides will assist you the entire time. As the river takes you under an old colonial stone bridge, the river becomes very calm and the beautiful Caribbean Sea appears before you. Once at sea, you will paddle your kayak leisurely at your own pace to a along the coastline until you arrive at a private beach where you can enjoy a cool drink and some relaxation time after all that kayaking adventure. There will be about 45 minutes to 1 hr to soak up some sun, take a swim and listen to the reggae music. 

Completing this Ocho Rios Kayaking & Beach Excursion will leave you feeling rejuvenated and ignited! There is nothing more refreshing than getting into the heart of Jamaica’s stunning nature and working with it as it makes it journey from the mountains to the sea.

Note on Condition: 
You must be in good physical health to do this River Kayaking & Beach Excursion. This excursion is not recommended for guests who are pregnant or who suffer with cardiac conditions, epilepsy, heart or respiratory problems, physical disabilities, or any other medical conditions.

• Max Weight: 280lbs per person
• Minimum Age: 12 years old
• Duration: Total time on this excursion is 4.5hrs. Approx 2hrs of this time is on the River Kayaking Excursion in Jamaica, 45 minutes to 1hr beach time and 1.5hrs is allowed for orientation and transportation each way from the cruise port.
