The tour is narated and so you will learn some history and information about the island along the way. On this Grand Cayman cruise excursion you will get to sample some free Tortuga rum cake and small rum shots, send a postcard from Hell and get free entry in to see the dolphins perform at the Cayman dolphin park.
This is the best way to see Grand Cayman island for first-time visitors! The beach is the last stop on this tour. We spend 15mins here, enough time to take some pictures and get your feet wet! You can also choose to end your tour here. There are lots of buses and taxis at the beach that leave every 10-15mins, taking people back to the George Town cruise port. Look out for their “Back to Ship” signs. The standard bus charge is $5 - $6 per person.
We do not take bookings in advance for under 6 people on the Local Island Tour. If you want to book this for under 6 people, you can do so at the Discount Excursions kiosk on the Royal Watler Cruise Terminal, George Town Cruise Port, on the day of your arrival to Grand Cayman. Look out for the red, yellow and teal kiosk with the big Discount Excursions sign on the front.
Departure times for the Grand Cayman Local Island Tour vary depending on the date, but depart approximately at 9:15am, 10:30am, 11:30am and 12:30pm each day. Check in with our guides at the Discount Excursions Grand Cayman kiosk and they will be happy to assist you from there.
